MasterCraft recently dropped in on a few of us and asked us to take them out for a typical day on the water. Check it out!.

CWB TV filming this week
I’ve been spending much time in Winter Haven the last few days riding with the CWB crew to get ready for Worlds and to get some shots for the upcoming episodes of CWB TV. We have been logging tons of water time and footage. Some innovative, some ridiculous, but all of it fun. On Monday Matt Manzari and Stu Shinn joined us for a wake skate demo. They were actually just free riding but it might as well have been a Demo because we were all impressed. I neglected to bring my good camera along when Manzari was riding but managed to get this pic on my iPhone. Honestly the best riding iPhone shot I’ve taken. Enjoy and more to come.

Awesome session at McCormicks Cable today
Nick Jones, myself and a few others had an amazing session at the McCormicks cable today. A.K.A Tampa Cable. It was suprisingly slow today so we never had to wait in line. A massive thunder storm rolled through half way through the day. We waited it out and enjoyed perfect conditions after it passed through.
Tevin who operates and manages at the cable kept it open after hours for us to do some solo sessions. We each took turns riding the cable by ourselves in glassy water. Also when we fell trying new stuff there was an extra rope behind us for a quick pick up. It was an awesome time had by all. I’m going back Thursday for another session. Enjoy the photos. All taken from my Iphone.

World Games 100,000+ crowd tonight
I’ve been in Kaohsiung, Taiwan for the past week for the World Games. It has been a seriously impressive production. The city has put 8 years and $200,000,000+ into a 7 day sporting event. They were kind enough to have wakeboarding along for the ride. We just finished up the closing ceremony tonight with 100,000 plus people in and around the stadium for the closing.
There was an army of volunteeres to help us with any and everything we needed. The games themselves actually had 4000+ volunteeres.
The riding was from an impressive and international field. 16 countries were represented and in the end I was fortunate enough to come away with the gold.
I snapped a ton of photos on my actual SLR camera but for now I will leave you with an Iphone photo of the closing ceremony.
I’m heading to Tokyo, Japan tomorrow morning so I’ll keep some pics and updates coming. Andrew

Let the Travels Begin
Just starting the 36 hour trek to Naga in the Phillipines for the kick off to the 09 WWA World Series. At this point I’m flying solo but I will be meeting Spencer Smith and JD in Manilla. I’ll be at Camsur Watersports Complex for 10 days of free riding, competing, and watching riders from over 30 different countrys shred. I’ll be updating my blog with photos and stories through all of the action. Right now all I have for ya is a photo of the two fresh set ups I’m bringing with me and also the view out of the window in first class. JK that’s from the Crown Room at the airport.

Training for WWA World Series stop numero uno
You haven’t heard from me in a few days because I’ve been craming in a ton of riding to get ready for the 1st stop of the WWA World Series that will be held at CWC in the Phillipines. This event is not only going to kick off the 09 season but also my on the road updates of my travels. I’ve been shooting photos for around 5 years now and am planning on not just keeping those to myself anymore. Keep an eye out for daily updates while I’m there. I leave Friday morning but will keep you posted in the mean time.

Best riding day of the year so far
Wel,ll I hit the water yesterday morning at 7:45 to do a shoot with Wakeboarding magazine. Matt Hickman and Bill Doster made it happen, heading up the morning mission. It really wasn’t a mission at all though. This was the first a.m. Session of 09 that you didn’t need any sort of wetsuit top. To top that off we were the only boat on the lake . Even though the entire lake was a sheet of glass.
We didn’t let one session complete the day. Hickman met me out at the Projects to get a set on the system 2 cable as well.

Hometown Riding
Well, I may not have been able to make it on the Aus trip this time around, but was able to get a few sets in my hometown. It was a nice reminder as to how fortunate I was to grow up in Panama city, FL.
I get asked on a very regular basis where my favorite place to ride is and it has to be PC, florida. Our lakes here are like no other I’ve been to. Most people have seen or been to Panama City Beach and are familiar with the white silicon sand and the crystal clear water, but few are aware of the lakes in Panama City that look exactly the same. The lakes are so clean and clear you feel more like you’re in a swimming pool than a lake. There are 30+ of these clear lakes in northern bay county and southern washington county but Lucas Lake, White Western, and Lake Merial are a few of my favorites. I’ll dig through my photo archives when I get back to Auburndale to give you a few more pics of my favorite place to ride. Here is one in the mean time of Jimmy Trask riding on Lucas Lake a few months ago.
